Taiwan 1: part 2- Jiufen pictures from first night

When looking through my pictures to post, I forgot to write about the water puppet show.  Something that we were told about by both guides was the water puppet show in Hanoi.  We saw it during our last night there.  It was just as it sounded.  Puppets in water.  It was accompanied by music played by a small band to the side of the stage and occasionally had singing.  It was cute at first, but quickly became repetitive to me.  Stephanie greatly enjoyed it, however.



Here are some pictures taken from the hotel balcony, walking around last night, the small temple t the end of the old street, and the large Buddhist temple that I found while walking up behind town.
